The Accreditation Federation (AF) is actively seeking experienced technical assessors and subject matter experts to conduct audits and assessments for various accreditation programs. We are looking for professionals with expertise in auditing management and technical processes of laboratories, inspection agencies, certification bodies, and other conformity assessment organizations.
Required Knowledge
Candidates must have in-depth knowledge in at least one of the following accreditation standards and regulatory frameworks:
- ISO/IEC 17025 – Testing and Calibration Laboratories
- ISO/IEC 17020 – Inspection Bodies
- ISO/IEC 17065 – Product Certification Bodies
- ISO/IEC 17021 – Management System Certification Bodies
- ISO/IEC 17024 – Personnel Certification Bodies

Experience Requirements
Technical Assessors and Experts should have relevant experience in at least one of the following fields:
- Testing: Biology, Chemical, Environmental, Electrical (including energy efficiency programs), Food Safety
- Calibration: Dimensional, Electrical (with expertise in measurement uncertainty estimation and proficiency testing evaluation)
- Product Certification: Reviewing and assessing compliance with product certification schemes
- Management System Certification: Conducting assessments of QMS, EMS, ISMS, and other system certifications
- Personnel Certification: Evaluating personnel competency and certification schemes
- Inspection Services: Regulatory building inspections, structural inspections, and code compliance audits
Work Location and Commitment
Assessments are conducted either onsite at client locations or remotely. Some assignments may require document reviews and reporting without physical site visits. This is a contract-based position, and assessors will be engaged as needed for specific assessments.
Reporting Structure
Selected assessors and experts will report to the relevant program managers within the AF accreditation framework.
